About Comtec Carwash
Car Wash 3 Touchless Automatic Bays 3 Self Serve Bays
Comtec Carwash is a car wash in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. It is listed at 7980 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, which places it among the local businesses of Wheat Ridge that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Wheat Ridge is in Colorado, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Wheat Ridge follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Happened to be driving by and been meaning to wash the car for months... so I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did! I don't use anything other than touchless bc if messes up the paint. I know the effectiveness of Touchless are hit or miss. This place was a Hit! My car came out looking good! Water pressure is good! Happy customer here. Details: 2 touchless bays, and self serve bays. Takes cards. Priced from $25 on their best wash and I think 18 on their base wash. I got a code for $3 off by texting a # on the box before I bought their best wash. Worth it IMO. Bonus: colorful lights on the machine ✨️ 😄

This is the best Touchless wash I’ve found so far and they just updated the equipment on the automatic wash and it actually works surprisingly well. Do recommend. They offer free washes once a month so check out their social media for those days. If they offered compressed air for final touch up dry off that would be amazing. Anyways, Will certainly return.

I have been coming to this carwash for years and have seen a bunch of improvements over the past few months. The place is really clean and there is always someone there to help. I really like the new automatic machine they just put in. All the colorful lights are a lot fun. Best car wash in the area!

Genuine the best car wash in town. Not only does it have hot water, it is definitely the most clean car Wash I've ever been to. The owner is really nice and is always very friendly to me and we usually do have a conversation or at least a few passing words. One of my favorite features other than the hot water and the cleanliness is the tire and engine cleaner, I have chrome rims and next time I come I will take it before and after picture and upload it here, but it's the only tire cleaner spray that I've ever used in my entire life that actually does help clean my wheels at the car wash without any side of cleaner or scrubbing it with a power brush. (Which even that doesn't always work!!) Good fair pricing as well, and place takes cash, card & tapless!
